On January 26, the Rotary Club of Pen presented its second Service excellence Award. This Service excellence Award was conferred upon Mr. Arvind Vange, President of the Mahatma Gandhi Library in Pen. For the past 40 years, Mr. Arvind Vange has been dedicated to cultivating a reading culture among the people of Pen. Through the Mahatma Gandhi Library, he has implemented numerous initiatives to inspire a love for reading among the residents. He has also played the role of an educational guardian for many girl students. In addition, Mr. Vange conducts various programs through the library aimed at promoting reading habits among girls and the tribal community. Despite the era of advanced technology like the internet, he has successfully kept the movement of fostering a reading culture alive. Recognizing these efforts, the Rotary Club of Pen honored him with the Service Excellence Award.
