On January 26, 2025, the Rotary Club of Pen presented the Vocational Excellence Award. On the occasion of Republic Day, the Rotary Club of Pen honored Mr. Raju Pichika, a professional from Pen, with the Vocational Excellence Award for his exceptional social work. Mr. Raju Pichika, though a builder by profession, has made significant contributions to social causes. He has assisted many in the fields of education, healthcare, and disaster management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided a free ambulance service for the residents of Pen. Additionally, he extended generous support to the flood victims of Kolhapur, Mahad, and Irshalwadi. Known as a “Lifesaver” in Pen, Mr. Raju Pichika’s contributions are widely recognized. Rotary Club President Sanyogita Temghare expressed immense joy in presenting this award to Mr. Raju Pichika, acknowledging his invaluable efforts in serving society.
