January 3 to January 10: Celebrated as Savitribai Phule Jayanti Week As part of the Savitribai Phule Jayanti Week, the Rotary Club of Pen distributed books to the girl students of the Interact Club at Anand School. The primary objective of this initiative was to cultivate a love for reading among these students. Additionally, the donated books would benefit the library of the school where the Interact Club has been established. The Rotary Club of Pen encouraged the students to develop a habit of reading, emphasizing that reading enhances intellectual maturity. This was the second initiative undertaken specifically for girls during Savitribai Phule Jayanti Week. President Sanyogita Temghare remarked, "We will continue to organize such initiatives dedicated to empowering girls."
