On January 6, on the occasion of Journalist Day, the Rotary Club of Pen organized an event to honor journalists from Pen Taluka. As part of this program, the Rotary Club of Pen recognized nearly 25 journalists for their contributions to societal awareness through their writing on various topics. The honored journalists were presented with certificates of appreciation and gifts. The program began by garlanding the portrait of Maharashtra’s first journalist, Shri Balshastri Jambhekar. Following this, Rotarians Sujata Jadhav and Madhubala Nikam recited poems in honor of the journalists. Subsequently, the journalists were felicitated. Towards the end of the event, some journalists expressed their thoughts, thanking the Rotary Club of Pen for acknowledging and honoring their work.
