On November 26, in honor of Indian Constitution Day, the Rotary Club of Pen organized a street play by students from the Tribal Girls' Government Hostel at the Mahatma Gandhi Library in Pen. The students performed an impactful play highlighting certain provisions from the Constitution authored by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Through the play, they effectively conveyed messages about preventing violence against women, the right to education for girls, and the need for them to have the freedom to live independently. The President of the Mahatma Gandhi Library, Mr. Arvind Wange, honored the students with a cash prize of ?1,000. Additionally, a lecture by Advocate Neeta Kadam was organized on "Rights and Fundamental Duties under the Constitution." Mrs. Ashwini Gadgil, President of the Ahilya Women’s Association, was also present at the event.
