Rotary club of Pen along with Kalyan Mitra Jain Mahasangh from Mira road and Bhayandar donated new as well as old clothes, toys, school bags, books ,pens, pencils and educational equipments to 8 Tribal Villages. The smile and happiness on their faces was literally transferred to our faces. Both the doner as well as receiver were overwhelmed. One person's clutter is another person's treasure. Donating items is the ultimate form of recycling. By donating your unwanted clothes to charity, you're not only helping the environment, you're also supporting brilliant causes. In fact, donated clothing is one of the biggest sources of funds raised by charities. The best part is that you can choose which charity you want to give that coat, dress or top to. Toys not only entertain the child, but also help in the child's emotional and educational development. A toddler's skills improve as it identifies colours and shapes in toys. As the child grows up, toys, games and story books help in learning alphabets and numbers. Just by donating a gently used plastic toy, you can make a world of difference in the life of a disadvantaged child and at the same time help keep non biodegradable plastics out of our landfills.
