On August 7, 2024, a cancer awareness program specifically for women was organized by the Rotary Club of Pen at Jai Precision India Private Limited, a company in Rasayani that manufactures toys for Kinder Joy. This project was conducted for nearly 300 women working at the company. Dr. Surendra Pal from Panvel provided these women with information about breast cancer. He explained that if women approach doctors in a timely manner without fear and get the disease diagnosed and treated, any form of cancer can be cured. Rotary Club of Pen President, Sanyogita Temghare, also guided the women on how to face cancer bravely, seek timely treatment, and take care of their health.
